Early Man

Out January 26, 2018

For all you history buffs out there, Early Man may just be the movie for you. Set at the dawn of time (or during the Stone Age to be more precise), this Aardman creation hosts a large cast of hilarious prehistoric people, creatures and, of course, woolly mammoths.

When we meet Dug (voiced by Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne), his love, Goona (voiced by Maisie Williams), and their tribe, we learn how they must unite against the mighty Lord Nooth (the Planet’s favourite baddie – Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City to save their home and all they know.

Made with stop-motion animation and containing that British wit and sense of humour that Aardman Studios has become known for, Early Man is sure to be a huge hit.

There are many voices you will recognise here, from Redmayne and Hiddleston to Timothy Spall, Johnny Vegas and Mark Williams, to name but a few.

Tom Hiddleston, whom in real life is said to be one of the nicest guys in showbusiness, makes the most perfect villain. From Loki (Thor) to Nooth, he really has the bad guy role down to a fine art.

So, shake off the January blues and get yourselves down to the movies to catch this one. You won’t be disappointed.
