The Lightning Thief

20 January 2016

Percy Jackson is a part blood, part human, part god. When he goes to Camp Half-blood, he doesn’t know a thing about training for duels and quests with bloodthirsty monsters. As son of Poseidon- god of the sea, the sea speaks to him and helps him along the way.

He makes two friends at Camp Half-blood, named Annabeth and Grover. Annabeth is a daughter of Athena, a goddess who does not get along with Poseidon. Grover is a slave and companion to gods and Half-bloods, but Percy treats him as a human being and a friend.

When Zeus, god of the sky, thinks Percy stole his lightning bolt, he gets angry and might end up starting God War III… unless Percy finds the lightning bolt and gets it back in time for the summer solstice.

By the way, making Zeus angry is not a good idea….

I think this book is a real page turner, you just can’t stop reading it! I rate this book 10 stars.
