The Racehorse Who Wouldn't Gallop By Clare Balding

9 March 2017

The title of my book is The Racehorse Who Wouldn't Gallop. The author of this book is Clare Balding. The illustrator of my book is Tony Ross.

The story is about a 10-year-old horse-mad girl who always dreams of racing in the Derby, being in the Olympics and doing all sorts of amazing things with horses. It is a heart-warming story with a great Girl Power message.

The story takes place on Folly Farm. The main character of the story is Charlotte Bass, but everyone calls her Charlie. Some other characters are Harry and Larry, her annoying brothers.

I really enjoyed this book and it was really captivating. I would rate this book 10/10. I think it's suitable for readers aged 7 years and upwards.
