Peter, Benjamin, Mopsy, Flopsy, Cottontail, Barnabas, Jemima, Jeremy, Felix and Samuel – phew! – are back for more high jinks and mischief later this month in Peter Rabbit: The Runaway, and all we have to say is poor Thomas McGregor!
Following on from the hilarious, madcap adventures of 2018’s Peter Rabbit, the ‘divilment’ that this spring sequel promises couldn’t have us any more excited.
After the peace deal that was brokered between farmers and rabbits at the end of the first movie, Farmer Thomas and his partner Bea have since married and are starting to think about children! So, when the newlyweds head off on honeymoon, that’s when the fun (or trouble, depending on how you look at it) starts.
Peter, afraid that he and his friends will no longer be wanted by Thomas and Bea decides that they would be better off without them, and run away. Needless to say, the gang bump into some questionable characters, as well getting into lots of trouble, along the way. No surprise there! The cast of Peter Rabbit: The Runaway is star-powered, which works really well. British comedian and talk show-host James Corden is back as Peter, with our own Domhnall Gleeson and Rose Byrne returning at Thomas and Bea.
Expect mischief, mayhem and many rabbit-brained laughs. The perfect pre-Easter movie for the family.
