The Cocoberry Smoothie

The Cocoberry Smoothie is a great (and healthy) alternative to after dinner desserts. It’s also ideal for having after exercise. Because it combines chocolate, its not one you would have every day – maybe that’s what makes it so yummy when you do make it!

I’ve chosen coconut milk in this smoothie recipe so, following in Steven’s footsteps, people who are lactose intolerant can enjoy it too.

250g punnet of strawberries

Cocoa powder

1L Coconut milk

200g jar of Nutella



  1. Cut the green leafy part at the top of the strawberries off – it’s called the calyx. Then, carefully slice the strawberries in half before placing them in the blender jug.
  2. Sift two tablespoons of cocoa powder and add into the jug.
  3. Spoon two tablespoons of Nutella into the mix.
  4. Pour 3-4 250ml cups of coconut milk in, making sure there’s some space left at the top of the jug.
  5. Blend until, you guessed it, the mixture is smooth!
  6. Chill for an hour before drinking!

So, there you have it. As easy as that. And the best thing about smoothies is, you can experiment with whatever fruit and vegetables you have in your kitchen. If you do find time out to make your own, please send in a picture of it to And don’t forget to name it
