Animal Relief (Page 4)

The animals at Dublin Zoo are no doubt hugely releived to hear that they’ll soon have visitors again, after a long absents due to COVID-19.

According to the keepers, they really miss us humans, and the great apes in particalur are keen on having us around. It seems we amuse them every bit as much as they amuse us.

The staff are eagerly prepareing to welcome people back on April 26, the date annownced by the government.

The pandemic created a very worrying situation as, with no paying visitors, the zoo had to fundraise to feed the animals through the winter.

The staff and animals at Fota Wildlife Park in Cork are equaly delighted at the news.

‘We’re going to be busy beavers here for the next few weeks, making it look spick and span for people when they come in!’ the directer happily said.

Like Dublin Zoo, this park has been in jepardy without paying visitors, as it has hundereds of animals to feed and look after.

So, make it your buisiness to visit the animals.
