Hello, TPPers!
Can you believe we are here already – the final issue of The Primary Planet for this school year?
It never ceases to amaze me how quickly a year can pass. Honestly, it feels like only nine weeks ago – not nine months ago – when we finished the September issue of the 2024/25 school year. And now, in the next few weeks the TPP team will be turning their attention to the 2025/26 school year!
But let’s take it back to the ‘now’, as we hear many wise men and women tell us these days! Because in this month’s issue, we’ve got a jam-packed programme that is hitting on many topical things at the moment. As you will see on the page right next to this, we took a side step off the global news stage this month to focus on that great new chapter many of you are set to begin in late August – the move from Sixth to First! Check it out, as we think you will be able to empathise with the writer.
For main feature, we’re focusing on the amazing rainforests on Earth. These ecosystems are teeming with life of all kinds. If ever there was something worth getting to know more about, these are it.
We’re also buzzing with excitement here at TPP HQ, as our brand-new farming magazine for young readers – AG MAG – is heading into shops for the very first time this month! So if you’re into tractors, animals or the farming world, be sure to keep an eye out for it. You’ll find all you need to know in our final AG MAG mini-mag! A bit like all in Sixth Class, AG MAG is getting ready to move up too!
Of course, before I go, I would like to wish all our readers a brilliant, safe and sunny summer. And to our departing Sixth Class TPPers – quite simply, we’ll miss you. But, we know you’ve got this. Remember: your next great adventure is only just beginning.
Right! Off you go and enjoy TPP #143, and I’ll see you back here in September!
