In Moonbound – a movie based on a well-known German children’s book from 1915 called Little Peter's Journey to the Moon – we meet Pete and his little sister Anne. It is when Anne meets a mysterious little bug called Mr. Zoomzeman that things move skyward.
Mr. Zoomzeman needs to get back to his home (yes, the moon) to find his missing wife, but needs the help of the two children to do so. However when Pete lands on the Moon, he discovers Anne has been kidnapped by the evil Moon Man.
In Moonbound, you can expect fun and frolics at every turn, with magical creatures and evil lunar sheep to keep you entertained. Will this scoop awards? Probably not, but it is a decent family movie to entertain young and old.
